Recently one of our players asked me if I know about the “Minas Tirith” matchstick model. I had never heard about the work of Patrick Acton before, who built this model in almost 3 years, finishing it on February 15th 2010, which I found out after some research
. The impressive work of Patrick Acton is only one of his many projects he accomplished so far. Most of his matchstick models are shown at the Matchstick Marvels museum in Gladbrook, IA. For all those who don’t live anywhere nearby, have a look t his homepage. To see some working progress pictures head over here.

The pictures above were shot at the Iowa State Fair 2010 and belong to doryfour’s flickr gallery.
Maybe someone can encourage him to make a model of Triumph or the Throal gates including Bartertown, any volunteers?

It’s now been three years that the Earthdawn Blog exists and I recently realized that I somehow missed to celebrate the second birthday of the blog. So I decided, from now on I‘ll only celebrate the uneven birthdays of the blog
. Looking back I also realized that from the time on when the blog received its new design, a lot of new visitors were attracted and regularly visit the blog. I thank all the visitors, fans, fans with projects, guest bloggers, RedBrick, friends and horrors that encourage me to blog about Earthdawn.

I hope you enjoy/ed the Earthdawn Blog in the following/last years as much as I do/did.

The Tableau Infractus Internet Archive released a collection of spells in four brand new fanzine Ebooks. The four books about elemental, illusionary, nethermantic and wizardry spells were collected from various internet sources. The layout of the Ebook spells is based on the editable Spellcards of Maskhim, which I introduced some time ago over here on the Earthdawn Blog. The Spellcards contain a short description of the spell, for further detailed information; all the Spellcards hold the internet addresses where the spell originates from.

For further information about the works of the Tableau Infractus Archive check out my previous reports about the Infractus releases.
